The 11.2-inch IPS LCD screen of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has a density of 345 ppi and a resolution of 3,200 x 2,126 pixels. The panel supports 144Hz refresh rate, 68B colors, 360Hz touch sampling, and both HDR10 and Dolby Vision standards.
The display is of very good quality with barely noticeable unevenness in the backlighting around the edges (only on white backgrounds), and it exhibits only a minimal contrast shift when you look at it at an angle.
The screen can refresh at up to 144 Hz. According to the hardware scanning apps the display supports 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz steps. The Settings menu has two modes: Default (read Auto) and Custom, where you can set a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz, 90Hz, or 144Hz.
The default automatic mode is identical to the 144Hz mode, while the other modes limit the maximum refresh rate to 60Hz or 90Hz. When Auto or 144Hz is selected, the system uses 120Hz for moving content. Additionally, we observed 120Hz most of the time, 48Hz for 24fps videos, 50Hz for 48fps videos, 90Hz in a few apps.

Strangely, we never saw 144Hz, not even in benchmarks or games. HDR10 and Dolby Vision streaming are supported by all popular streaming platforms, including the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is powered by a 8,850mAh battery.
On our battery life test, the tablet achieved a very high Active Use Rating of 10:12 hours. It lasted 50h on a WhatsApp call, 8:33 hours on our web test, it can video stream for over 11h and you can get at least 6h of uninterrupted gaming.
A full charge of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro should take 79 minutes due to support for up to 67W fast charging. The tablet does not come with a charger. Please keep in mind that we have also tried charging the tablet with Xiaomi's 120W power adapter and a 100W PD charger, both of which resulted in slower charging times of at least 15-20 minutes compared to the 67W brick.
If you frequently leave the tablet plugged into a charger and want to avoid battery depletion, you can also limit charging to 80 percent. Smart charging is supported.
